Sunday, June 5, 2016 – Fresno, CA –PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports continued their podium streak on the streets of Detroit with a third place finish at Round 5 of the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship on Belle Isle.
The Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix was only the second street race that Robert Alon has ever competed on, and for the second race in a row, he qualified the #52 PC machine on pole after scoring a pole position at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in May.
PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports Carries Podium Momentum to Detroit Belle Isle
Wednesday, June 1, 2016 – Fresno, CA – After their first win of the season at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the PR1 Mathiasen/Motorsports team is ready to carry that momentum to the Chevrolet Sports Car Classic in Detroit, MI. The Motor City race will be the second and final street course the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship will visit in 2016.
Both PR1 drivers Robert Alon and Tom Kimber-Smith hope to carry the energy from their first win of the season at Laguna to Detroit and finish the weekend with another trip to the podium. For rookie driver Alon, he’s set to learn a brand new track and gain more street course experience.

Monday, May 2, 2016 – Fresno, CA – It was a perfect weekend for the PR1 Motorsports team and drivers at the Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Although the car may not have posted the fastest times during the first free practice sessions, when the times mattered, drivers Robert Alon and Tom Kimber-Smith made sure the No. 52 PC machine was at the head of the pack.
