PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports endured a treacherous run at the 64th Annual Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring on Saturday. The day started under sunny skies and beautiful south Florida weather, but by the two-hour mark of the race, the forecasted rain made its way to the track, and so did the lightning. The race was red-flagged for the fifth time in 64 years for two hours and fifteen minutes.

Wednesday, March 16, 2016—Fresno, CA—PR1 Motorsports heads south to the infamous 17-turn, 3.74-mile track that is Sebring International Raceway. After completing a successful two-day test there in February, both the team and drivers are ready to get back on track for the 64th running of the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring.
For teammates Robert Alon and Tom Kimber-Smith, Sebring is a track that they both have visited multiple times, but for teammate Jose Gutierrez, the Sebring Test marked the first opportunity for him to turn laps at famed course.

Thursday, February 4, 2016 – Fresno, CA – After 24 hours of racing at the most iconic race in North America, the No. 52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports team finished second in the Prototype Challenge class at the first race of the WeatherTech Sportscar Championshp – The Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The team started the twice around the clock race at the back of the class after electing not to qualify in the rain and risk damaging the car, but after a few short green flag laps, Tom Kimber-Smith had their PC machine in P1. Daytona rookies Robert Alon, Nick Boulle and Jose Gutierrez, all completed flawless stints and were able to extend their lead over the other competitors.
